Industrial Repair Service Lights Up the Holidays with Cherokee County Airport Tree Donation

BALL GROUND, GA – Industrial Repair Service (IRS) is proud to have organized and installed a Christmas tree to be displayed at the Cherokee County Airport. The tree, purchased by President and Chief Executive Officer, James Doyle, was shipped directly to the Ball Ground hub and is available for viewing in the waiting room until after the New Year.

“We’ve been setting up Christmas trees at the airport for nearly a decade,” said David Detillo, Facilities Manager at Industrial Repair Service. “This is the second tree James has donated to the airport, and we’ve been using it for the past three years. We’ve made its assembly a tradition, and we couldn’t be more honored to provide a small gesture that brings so much joy to people during the season.”

The Cherokee County Airport holds a special place in the hearts of Industrial Repair Service and the Doyle family. With Doyle being a proud member for almost thirty years, Cherokee County Airport’s passion for aviation and community engagement, such as partnerships with local schools and organizations, resonates deeply with the values of IRS.

Community Invitation: The public is invited to a special event in which students with The Hickory Flat Choir will perform holiday classics, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11th, at the Cherokee County Airport, located at 1351 Bishop Rd in Ball Ground. Santa Claus will also make an appearance, along with the Santa Chick-fil-A cow.

“The holidays are that special time of year when everyone comes together to celebrate and give back to the places and people that matter most,” said Doyle. “The Cherokee County Airport makes a significant contribution to the community not only through enhancing the travel experience but improving the quality of life for Georgia’s residents. We hope this tree brightens the days of everyone who passes through the airport.”
