Industrial Repair Service Celebrates Nearly $28,000 Raised for Love Kaleb Inc. Through Community Barbecue

CUMMING, GA – Industrial Repair Service (IRS) is thrilled to announce the resounding success of its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser, held on Monday, July 15th, in partnership with Love Kaleb Inc. The event, along with the Ducks 3rd Annual Car Show, raised nearly $28,000, providing vital support for the non-profit.

As a commemoration to Kaleb Duckworth, son of Industrial Repair Service’s Electronics Shop Manager, Tommy Duckworth, IRS hosted a celebratory cookout at its headquarters in Cumming, Georgia, on Friday, August 30th. The event served as an opportunity for James Doyle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Industrial Repair Service, to present two checks to the organization on behalf of the company: One in the amount of $12,931 from the fundraiser, and the other being a $14,900 surprise check from the car show, the total value at $27,831. Donations from both events were raised through registration, raffle prizes and silent auctions.

“When we started Love Kaleb, it was never about a profit, it was about a purpose,” said Duckworth. “We made two decisions early on that one hundred percent of the donations had to go back to the kids, and we wanted it to be something Kaleb would be proud of. We’ve been able to do that because of people that support us. You may call them sponsors, donors or volunteers, but they’re family to us. They’ve allowed us to get to where we are.”

Over the last year alone, Love Kaleb Inc. provided holiday assistance to over fifty families, including Thanksgiving meals, Christmas gifts for 102 children, and 1,400 free meals at their Halloween drive. A student at Lumpkin County Mountain Education Chartered High School was also awarded a scholarship and the non-profit has recently enlisted care packages for children in emergency vehicles across multiple counties.

It's a privilege to contribute to such a meaningful cause that keeps Kaleb’s spirit alive."
